About

I was introduced to climbing in 2010 through the Boy Scouts while visiting Joshua Tree National Park. That first experience on real rock sparked a passion for climbing and the mountains that has shaped my life ever since.Today I work as a professional climbing guide and instructor, helping climbers build skills and confidence in some of the best climbing areas in North America.Much of my guiding takes place in Yosemite Valley, where we can focus on multipitch climbing, crack technique, and efficient rope systems on world-class granite. I also guide in Joshua Tree National Park, an excellent place to develop outdoor climbing skills like gear placements, anchors, and movement on traditional routes.During the winter months I guide in El Potrero Chico, a limestone destination known for long multipitch routes and incredible exposure.Whether we’re working on foundational skills, transitioning from the gym to outdoor rock, or climbing bigger objectives, my goal is to create a safe, fun, and educational day in the mountains.Certifications
